Masked Facade
Masked Facade
Screams anguish, the scars I bear
My relentless efforts for them to appear faint.
Yelps rage, in the sense that someone is near
You’ll see none, I hide them well
Perfections at it’s finest,
Wraps a busted spirit deeper
And they say it’s beautiful here
Delights and thrill all over
For they see me wear,
The gown of disguised glamour
Infinite holes pricked through my flesh
You’ll see none cause I hide them well
Only for you to call it a grace
I unfurl one, see you disgust
But that flesh offers shelter
to the devastated essence of flawed rays
Depth you sail over, a damage you witness
Precised self, the truth I chase
Beneath the masks and polished charm,
Only for you to figure that I am a complete mess.
